I'll never forget each time I was asked to just do a sport right handed and ended up sucking in class because of it. First time was this time.

Though, the only one I didn't get used to was baseball. Not having a left handed mitt made me look like I had the throwing skills of a toddler.

There were only four people that were left handed in my entire elementary school. Two were my siblings, some other person and myself. xD

Oh man...
I'm glad that forcing kids to use their right hand isn't often a thing in most schools anymore.

Yeah. At my school there was a theory apparently that everyone is right handed, that lefties just choose not to be. :/

That sounds a lot like an argument against homosexuality. Lordy, some ignorant people in this world - if something's not 'normal' it's something wrong with THEM!

To be honest, the only lefties in the entire school were two of my siblings and myself.

There was many assumptions we were either doing it to be cool or that we were freaks. xD

Yeesh... Why it mattered at all what hand you used... It should have just been 'use the hand you're better at using' or something to that extent.

You'd think that'd be the case, but there was an assumption that everyone was right handed and lefties were just confused. xD

The problem as well is that schools were just ill equipped for left handers.

I know right. We live in a righty world. People are always like, "you're left handed?!" It's almost like, why are you wrong? :P

xD I've never minded them, its just when people don't realize how different it is to do something with your non dominant hand that kinda bother me.

That's too bad. :( Even though I'm right-handed, I seriously don't know what's wrong with being a leftie. Some countries don't even let you use your left hand for certain things, or you'd get it chopped off.

Its weird how some things are still being built with right handed people in mind. I think the most recent example is something like an iPhone.
You tilt it to the right so the home button is at your dominant left thumb, the picture is upside down/backwards. If you tilt it so the thumb is for the right hand, its right side up/correct.

I have to edit every single landscape pic I take. Which is 80% of them.

By the time they made a lefty mode Guitar Hero, I learned how to play right handed, the jerks.

Fun fact; when I went to college, all of my friends were left handed and I was the only right handed person. Eating at round table was not easy for me. xD

I'm so incredibly sorry.

Our house was in a similar situation. 3 of us were lefties, the other 3 were righties out of my siblings and I.

That's neat though! xD in an unfortunate way.

Excuse me, sir, why were you born in a way you couldn't help which is inconvenient to my idea of what's normal?
